In Q4 2021, the Books and Reference category on the Android platform in Germany saw notable performances from five standout applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated various trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Audible: Audio Entertainment experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting strong with approximately 28K downloads in late September and then dropping to around 15.5K in mid-October. However, it rebounded towards the end of December, peaking at 21.6K downloads. Active user numbers remained relatively stable but saw a significant increase from 409.9K to 455.2K by the end of the quarter.
